So my youngest son needed braces on his teeth due to overcrowding.
The past three weeks have been taken up with having 4 extractions in readiness and then the fitting of the braces themselves.
Anyone who has had braces knows it's pretty painful at first so add into the equation his older brother gifting him with a rotten heavy cold and you will understand he's not had the best of times.
So I haven't had the time to do much for myself recently. However, I did manage to get in a pair of crocheted wrist cuffs!!
These are for wearing under a coat and are in aran yarn, so lovely and warm.
I've shown them here under my cardigan, lol and the pictures aren't too good either as I had to take them one handed but you can get the idea at least!
So here they are, my wrist cuffs!!
And here they are showing how they would look under a coat.
Hope you like them.
:)
They look so pretty - they're very feminine and frilly. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your wrists cuffs Sis! They are so pretty. And your hand is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I forgot to mention in my comment to your previous post that I envy, envy your set of needles. I still do knitting, it's just as regular as doing cross stitch.
Miss you so much Sis!
Hugs,
Toni
Great idea Kim,love the colour and they look really good under your coat.
ReplyDeleteHope your youngest gets over his cold and used to the braces..well as much as anyone can.
