Do you both use special non rust pins to block with?
I've just got ordinary pins, but I'd hate to get it all blocked and then get rust marks from the pins.

Thanks so much for the award Sarah ((hugs)) Now I just have to think of something to say about myself!!

:)Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06112258191650629526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8886327006996047878.post-56484514571774795292011-06-30T13:05:37.095+01:002011-06-30T13:05:37.095+01:00Wow sis, your doily is gorgeous, what more when it...Wow sis, your doily is gorgeous, what more when it is finished! I know that with your talents, you can tackle any crochet projects easily. And I love the prints of your fabrics.

You asked me about thread conversion of my doily no. 3 - actually, I didn't do any calculation. I just bought 6 balls of perle cotton, just my approximate, and thought that if I run out of thread will just buy more. But I ended up using only 4 balls. But I did not follow the hook indicated in the pattern since perle cotton no. 8 is thicker than size 30 thread. Instead, I used Boye crochet hook no. 7 (1.65mm).

Hugs :-)Tonihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01271617173896093503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8886327006996047878.post-41049315205727217742011-06-29T22:23:34.720+01:002011-06-29T22:23:34.720+01:00Nice fabric and your doily is looking really good ...Nice fabric and your doily is looking really good - they always look a bit crumpled and uninspiring before blocking - it'll look just like the pattern when it's done.

I was ages before I could crochet well in such fine yarn so you're doing brilliantly!!

BTW - you've got an award over at my place today....

S xSarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11959932194973002007noreply@blogger.com
